Jalandhar (19 August, 2011): Exposing the fake claims made by Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and the so-called Sant Samaj regarding the allotments of tickets, the Dal Khalsa today described the tie up between both as a big fraud on electorate.
Hoshiarpur (January 06, 2010): Contesting the views expressed by Giani Gurbachan Singh, the Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib that the changes in the Nanakshahi calendar would unite the Sikhs, the Dal Khalsa observed that instead it would further divide the community.
Amritsar (December 12, 2009): As per some media reports a prominent Sikh body today demanded that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Delhi Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGPC) head Paramjit Singh Sarna be summoned at Akal Takht for their ”failure to safeguard the Sikh interests”.
Ludhiana (December 6, 2009): The Sant Samaj was holding a dharna at Samrala chowk (Ludhiana) after yesterday’s incident that claimed life of a Sikh, Darshan Singh lohara but today this dharna is lifted under somewhat suspicious circumstances.
