New Delhi, India (August 23, 2014): Much awaited Punjabi movie “Kaum De Heere” was again banned by Indian government on August 21, just a day before it's released in India. The movie was previously banned by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on January 29, 2014. The initial date of release of the movie was February 28. But after the Indian authorities decided against the movie, it was released outside India on March 14.

Ban removed from Kaum De Heere; Raj Kakra’s Movie set to be released on August 22

As per information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Punjabi lyricist-cum-singer Raj Kakra’s début Punjabi movie “Kaum De Heere” will be released across India on August 22. The movie was banned by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India on February 28, 2014. But now the ban has been lifted.
