Amritsar (March 10, 2011): The Dal Khalsa hits out at the SGPC as it has failed to raise the memorial inside Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) complex in memory of those who were killed during army assault code named “Operation Blue Star” in June 1984.
Jandiala/Amritsar (September 26, 2010): Bhai Sukhdev Singh and Harjinder Singh, commonly known as Bhai Sukha-Jinda, shall be remembered on 10 October, 2010 at Village Gadhli, near Jandiala Guru in Amritsar District of Punjab. Duo were sentenced to death for assessinating former Army chief of India, Arun Vaidya, who headed the Indian Army in June 1984, when Sri Darbar Sahib (Amritsar), also known as the Golden Temple, was attacked by it.
June 5 and June 6 are reminders of the ‘Operation Blue Star’ when Indian military, led by General Kuldip Singh Brar, launched attack on the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of Sikhs in 1984, to arrest Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, the only leader who had been boldly fighting for the rights of Sikhs.

Chandigarh (June 02, 2010): The Punjab and Haryana High Court after hearing the arguments of counsel of Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani) has issued a show cause notice to Punjab Government and adjourned the hearing of petition seeking judicial relief against police crackdown on Panch Pardhni to sabotage ‘Holocaust Memorial March’ till 4 June.
Amritsar (June 1, 2010): In a bid to corner the SGPC for failing to build a memorial in memory of Sikh martyrs of June 1984 Darbar Sahib attack, the Sikh organization Dal Khalsa has launched a “poster war”.

Jalandhar (September 01, 2007): Baba Joginder Singh ‘Bai’ , who claims to be close confident of late Sikh Martyr Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale Saturday contested the claim by a former RAW officer Gurdev Singh Garewal, who in his book named ‘Secret Eye’ has stated that Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale was shot dead from point blank range by the Indian army during operation blue star.
