New Delhi (July 30, 2011): Objecting to the bestowing of “siropa” on Rahul Gandhi by Paramjit Singh Sarna of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee during the inauguration of a Sri Tegh Buhadur Memorial, Karnail Singh Peermohmmad President All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) requested Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh to summon Paramjit Singh Sarna at Akal Takhat and admonish.
Ludhiana (May 28, 2011): Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee president Paramjit Singh Sarna has written to United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi to get Prof Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar’s death sentence commuted by the government. The has followed the rejection of his constitutional review petition, also called the mercy petition, by the President of India.
