Amritsar, Punjab (June 12, 2013): The Dal Khalsa, while appreciating the initiative of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee of laying the foundation stone of 1984 Sikh Genocide Memorial in Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib Complex, strongly objected to the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh arguing the Hindutva party itself had blood of innocent Muslims of Gujarat on its hands and was thus no different from the Congress so far as the attitude towards minorities was concerned.
New Delhi, India (June 12, 2013): It is learnt that the foundation stone of Sikh Genocide 1984 Memorial was unveiled on on June 12, 2013. The memorial is being built inside the Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib Complex.

Amritsar, Punjab (May 7, 2013): The Dal Khalsa has asked the Akal Takht and other 4 Takht Jathedars’ to convene Sikh Conclave to thwart the proposed move by the Punjab Government to remove the inscription listing Sikh Nationalist leader Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale’s name from the “Yadgar” memorial erected in memory of those killed during army attack codenamed Operation Bluestar.
