Kurkshetra, Haryana (December 31, 2013): It is learnt that Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa who observed continuous hunger strike for 45 days seeking release of Sikh political prisoners was hospitalized due to severe stomach pain. As per certain media reports Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa was hospitalized yesterday at Dr. Jagdeesh Hospital, Shahbad Markanda (Haryana) as he was suffering from severe pain in stomach and was not able to digest his meals.

Mohali, Punjab (December 29, 2013): While talking to certain media persons at Gurdwara Amb Sahib (Mohali) on December 28, Sikh activist Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa said that he would continue his protest for the permanent release of the Sikh prisoners. Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa had reached Amb Sahib Gurdwara after ending his 45-day hunger strike at the Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar.
