Sikhs want arrest of culprits who attacked Jasvir Singh & others at Jiwan Nagar

Sirsa/Haryana (November 19, 2012): A day after an incident of attack by Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) followers on Sikhs near Jiwan Nagar (Sirsa) in which two Sikhs were injured, the Sikhs are reported to have organized a meeting at Gurdwara Dasam Patshahi on November 19, 2012 and gave an ultimatum to the police administration to arrest those behind the attack.

Bhai Sukhwinder Singh Khalsa, Haryana State President of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Sabha, informed Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that the police was told the arrest the Dera goons who attacked Jasvir Singh and others at Jiwan Nagar by November 23, 2012 or face the protests from the Sikhs.

“We will hold a protest, peacefully, on November 24, if the culprits are not arrested” he warned.

According to media reports a Dera follower and two Sikhs were injured in the incident at Jiwan Nagar area of Rania block of the district on Nov. 17, afternoon. While Sikhs were reportedly admitted to the civil hospital, the Dera follower was reportedly hospitalized in a private hospital here.
