Chandigarh (July 16, 2012): It has been recently reported in media today the Haryana government extended the scope of the Garg Commission, a single member commission, constituted to inquire into the killing of innocent Sikhs during the Hondh Massacre of Novmeber 1984 at village Hondh Chillar, to cover Pataudi and Gurgaon districts in addition to the area already assigned.

“Acting on the Punjab and Haryana high court directions, the state government decided to extend its areas. A notification to this effect has been issued” reports the Hindustan Times (HT).
