Ludhiana, PUNJAB (March 30, 2011): In a disturbing incident in Mohali, a young Sikh man’s turban was forcibly removed in broad day light by a police officer on the orders of another senior officer of Punjab Police. The incident proves that SAD (Badal) have not only failed to protect the dignity of Sikh articles of faith but they are also engaged in intentional desecration of Sikh turban.
Gurgaon (March 29, 2011): More details related to Sikh Genocide of 1984 have been unearthed by Sikhs for Justice and All India Sikh Students Federation.
Chandigarh (March 29, 2011): Mass cremation site has been discovered in Pataudi, Harayan where several Sikhs were burnt alive in November 1984 while they were trying to flee the attackers.
New York (March 25, 2011): Congress (I) has asked the US District Court for the Southern District of New York to grant the party until June 24, 2011 to file its answer in November 1984 Genocide Case. Congress (I) has retained Sabharwal, Nordin and Finkel, the same New York based law firm which is co-counsel for Kamal Nath in this case.
Amritsar, PUNJAB (March 25, 2011): The Dal Khalsa slammed the Indian government for barring Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International’s South Asia Director to visit Srinagar for the release of the report on human rights abuses in the valley.

Amritsar (March 22, 2011): Perturbed over the maltreatment meted out to various Sikhs on different occasions at US and Milan airport in Italy, the Dal Khalsa has asked the SGPC president not to sit idly by simply passing the buck to Indian Prime Minister as expecting any good for the welfare of the community from the latter means “hoping against hope”.
Ludhiana (March 21, 2011): World Kashmir Diaspora Alliance has condemned the killing of Sardar Sohanjit Singh while in custody of Punjab Police. He was arrested on the suspicion of being involved in the movement of freeing Khalistan from Indian occupation.
