A mass Grave of Sikhs killed in November 1984 has been discovered after 26 years in village Hondh-Chillar, District Rewari, Haryana. The village was inhabited by several Sikh families and on November 02, 1984 in an organized and well planned attack, the entire village was burnt along with its Sikh population and Gurudwara.
Nabha (February 14, 2011): Former General Secretary of Sikh Students Federation Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur was today released from maximum security jail, Nabha on bail along with two other Panch Pardhani activists, namely Palwinder Singh Shutrana and Gurdeep Singh Raju.

New Delhi, India (February 12, 2011): In a major legal victory for the victims of November 1984 Sikh genocide, on February 10, 2011 Additional Sessions Judge Ms. Sareeta Birbal has ordered CBI to provide evidence to the victims in Jagdish Tytler’s case.
Chandigarh (February 7, 2011): The Punjab and Haryana High Court today granted bail to Bhai Daljeet Singh, Chairman of SAD (Panch Pardhani). The decision has come from Justice Ajay Tiwarei’s bench, as the court considered that the prosecution was unduly harassing the appellants. Besides Bhai Daljeet Singh, Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, Bhai Palwinder Singh Shutrana and Gurdeep Singh Raju were also granted bails today, in the same case by Justice Ajay Tiwari.

Ludhiana (February 02, 2011): A ‘default order’ issued by a District Court in the United States against Union Minister Mr. Kamal Nath has once again brought the question of sovereign and diplomatic immunity into domestic and international debates. The case at hand concerns the legal proceedings initiated against Nath at the New York Federal District Court by the plaintiff, an NGO named Sikhs for Justice. The plaintiff alleges that that Nath, among others, is a person suspected of having been involved in the infamous Anti-Sikh riots of 1984.

New York (February 02, 2011): Demand of Sikhs for “no immunity” to Kamal Nath in pending case before US Court (10-cv-2940 Sikhs for Justice v. Kamal Nath) got the attention of International Human Rights Organizations when “Asian Human Rights Commission” (AHRC) in its recent statement supported the cause of justice for November 1984 victims and stated that “it is equally the responsibility of both governments to investigate, prosecute and punish crimes against humanity” and “the nature of charges against Kamal Nath prevents the Government of India and the United States Government from taking refuge in sovereign immunity in Nath’s case”.
