Toronoto (March 12, 2010): Canadian Sikhs denounce the upcoming visit to Canada of Kamal Nath, a Cabinet Minister in the government of India. Nath was invited to speak to the Canada-India Business Council in Toronto later this month.
Imphal (March 11, 2010): Irom Sharmila, who has been on a fast-unto-death since November 4, 2000 demanding the repeal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 (AFSPA) in Manipur, was rearrested on Tuesday, as she continued her fast despite being released by the court.
New Delhi (March 10, 2010): The Sikhs for Justice, through a newsletter, informed that ACMM Lokesh Kumar Sharma on March 10, 2010 granted bail to Congress Leader Sajjan Kumar and nine accused for their involvement in November 1984 massacre of Sikhs.
