1984 Genocide: Court refused bail to accomplice of Sajjan Kumar

New Delhi (February 25, 2010): As per reports from Delhi a local court today refused to grant bail to a co-accused of former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar in a case related to 1984 Sikh Massacre. While terming the charges relating to murder and arson against him as “direct and serious” in nature, the court refused to extend bentifts of bail of accused Girdhari Lal.
Additional chief metropolitan magistrate Lokesh Kumar Sharma dismissed the plea of this accused person as “devoid of merit”. Girdhari Lal was arrested by CBI and produced before the court on February 23 following a non-bailable warrant against him.
The court had on February 17 issued the arrest warrant against Lal as he failed to appear before it on summons. Lal, along with former outer Delhi MP Sajjan Kumar and Balwan Khokhar, Mahender Yadav, Maha Singh, Capt Bhagmal, Santosh Rani, Krishna Khokhar were named as accused in the murder of five persons in Delhi Cantt during the organized violence against the Sikhs in first week of November 1984.
CBI had filed two charge-sheets on January 13 in the cases registered on the recommendation of Justice GT Nanavati commission which had inquired into the sequence of events leading to the Massacre of Sikhs in 1984. It is notable that thousands of innocent Sikhs were burnt alive and brutally murdered after the assassination of Indira Gandhi, then prime minister of India. Indira was guilty for ordering armed attack on Darbar Sahib (Amritsar), a spiritual Sikh Shrine to suppress peaceful struggle of Sikh Nation for freedom, called “Dharam Youdh Morcha”.
While commenting on recent developments Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema of SAD (Panch Pardhani) said that “We appraise those fighting for justice but Sikhs have left any hope to get justice from Indian Courts that took 25 years to issue arrest warrants against those who are responsible for killing thousands and many like Jagdish Tytler are not even charged.”

Sajan Kumar the mass murderer and criminal has ZEE security from Indian state. Nine police officers watch him every minute. So for CBI to say that they could not locate Sajan Kumar and arrest him is not only a joke but a shameless game being played to protect this criminal. Again look at the treatment the Sikhs get on MERE SUSPICION.
It is absolutely silly and immature on part of Sikhs to believe that justice will ever be done. Even if one or two persons like Sajan or Tytler are slapped on the back mildly, does it make any difference?
More than quarter million Sikhs have been killed the whole Qoum has been subjugated politically and economically and our enemy is bent upon our liquidation.
The Indian government was playing games with the Sikhs about the stunt of Non bailable warrants against Sajan Kumar. CBI told the court that they can not locate the man who is under the constant watch of 9 security personnel and with Zee security.
As expected , finally after a little drama Sajan Kumar was given bail.
I was amazed at the immaturity of the Sikh leadership who was thinking that “finally ” justice will be done and have not understood that all these commissions are just farce. There is no justice for Sikhs in India. I blame HS Phoolka for participating in this farce for more than 25 years and giving cover to Indian Government so that it can claim that justice is being done. The only way Sikhs are going to get justice is with their own security forces who will hunt down these criminals from any part of the world.
